COVID-19 Update

RESUMING NORMAL OPERATIONS

COVID-19 UPDATE

Dear Patients and Families of Fisher Family Dentistry,

We hope you and your family are in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the past few months, and we are all looking forward to resuming our normal routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

As of now, we plan on resuming normal operation, at our office, on Monday May 18th.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, its both safe and comfortable. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental association (ADA) , the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We have made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:
  • Our office will communicate with you prior to your appointment to ask some screening questions. You will be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
  • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will find hand sanitizer throughout the office to use as needed.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That may mean you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
  • We ask that only the patient come into the office for the appointment. If a guardian is necessary, they will have to sit in the operatory with the patient. We ask that all other family members or friends wait in their car.
  • We will do our best to allow time in between patients to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
  • Increased Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all staff who provide dental care.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and we look forward to welcoming you back!
